Current Lush Favourites

This post has been on my to-do list for a loooong time. So much that I have purchased another favourite that is not pictured below but I will mention it anyway as I just love it so much. I really like Lush at the moment. As always I'm quite picky (a trend is appearing here...) with the fact I know what I like and absolutely won't pay £7 for a bath 'bomb' that makes my water green and not much else. I definitely am one of those people asking for all the demonstrations in the shop to see which one produces more bath bubbles (a essential bath-taking component). Sorry not sorry.

First up, is the Lush Tea Tree Toner. I started using this after seeing good words floating around on Instagram about it fresh face properties and being one for having constant problems with my skin, decided to give it a try based on this. I really enjoy using this after my cleanser and before my moisturiser. It leaves my face feeling so refreshed, clear (even if it doesn't currently look it -thanks spots) and CLEAN. Not to mention it smells pretty amazing too. I've repurchased this already and I've never been big on toner until now, so that says something for someone as fussy as me with products (minus lipstick).

Next is the Popcorn Lip Scrub, this smells amazing and is one of those lip products you put on and immediately want to eat/mistake for some kind of sweet. Weird I know but it smells so, so yummy! Probably due to the Caster sugar & Coconut Oil in it, this scrub exfoliates gently but surely any dry area's of the lips. A life saver in this cold weather! Paired before bed with a good lip balm (I'm using a Nivea moisturising one at the moment) it's great for keeping lips soft, unchapped & lipstick-ready.

A long time favourite and one with a great cause attached to it, is the Charity Pot Hand Cream (the smaller £1 version shown above). I always pick up these small £1 donation pots as they are perfect for keeping in your handbag/car/desk drawer/any other place you might need it! Small but enough for a good few uses, it is so creamy, smells incredible and sinks into the hands leaving them silky soft. I often find myself using this at work and love the smell that lingers with it once it sinks in, so lovely. All proceeds of these small trial pots & larger full size pots (minus tax I think) goes directly to small organisations that fall right in line with Lush's ethics on Enviro. conservation, animal welfare (something I feel very strongly about) & human rights. You can find more out about their work of the Charity Pot here, here and here.

And last but not least is the not-pictured, life-saving face mask. The Mask of Magnaminty, whenever I put this on I feel I look like a walking broccoli stalk. It's a deep green colour with smaller green beads in, that when put on, dries within a few minutes, I usually leave it on a bit longer and then wash off with warm water, rubbing in the beads to problem areas. It always leaves my skin feeling glowing and is great to use on a bad skin/spot day. I love using it before bed as it leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and not problematic! It smells so good as well, which goes without saying for more Lush products. A definite must for anyone that is having problems with dull, problem skin at the moment. I'm also looking forward to trying their Cosmetic Warrior Fresh Face Mask.

What are your favourite Lush products?
I'd love to hear some recommendations :)
